Be challenged

We are now recruiting a Fundraising Operations Manager. This is a vital role within DEC that is key to the operational delivery of our core fundraising purpose. The DEC is looking for an experienced operational manager to manage, maintain and develop our systems for the DEC’s donation channels which includes Online web donations, SMS text donations and Postal donations via Cheque and card amongst others. You will also manage our supporter database (Salesforce) as well as oversee regulatory compliance for all fundraising and marketing activity.

International development experience is not essential, although it’s important that you understand the context in which we operate, and the significance of our operations in responding to urgent appeals. An advanced understanding of payments is vital, as is the ability to build relationships across an organisation. We understand that you may not bring all the experience outlined in our job description, and we can support your professional development.

This is a rare opportunity to play a vital role in the work of an organisation that responds to international disasters and saves lives.

Closing date is 8am, Monday 11th February 2019. We would like to arrange informal coffee meetings with the DEC to discuss the role and your suitability in advance of that date.
